Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to produce the body of the petitioner son namely R.Jeeva S/o.Rajendran aged 29 years before this Court from the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) When the petitioner's son namely, R.Jeeva, aged about 29 years had gone missing, the petitioner had given a complaint on 08.08.2023 before the second respondent police. Since the petitioner's son could not be traced within a reasonable time, she has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR No.635/2023 was given.

3. Since the second respondent has issued CSR Number, we deem it fit that the second respondent could be directed to complete the enquiry in CSR No.635/2023.

4. In view of this decision, the prayer sought for in the present Habeas Corpus Petition does not require consideration. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the second respondent herein to complete the enquiry in CSR No.635/2023.
