Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to direct the second respondent herein to execute the Bailable Warrant against the third accused concerned in E.A.No.32 of 2024 in C.C.No.300 of 2016 in RBT No.144/2022 on the file of the District Consumer Redressal Forum, Chennai (South) within a time frame as fixed by this Court. The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to execute the warrant issued against the third respondent on 22.01.2025 in E.A.No.32 of 2024 in C.C.No.300 of 2016 in RBT No.144/2022 on the file of the District Consumer Redressal Forum, Chennai (South).

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first and second respondents.

It is the contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that despite the issuance of warrant on 22.01.2025 and several reminders sent to the first and second respondents, they failed to execute the warrant pending against the third respondent. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that the warrant issued against the third respondent was 2/4

mistakenly sent to Perambur instead of being forwarded to the second respondent, Peravallur. Therefore, the same will be collected and the warrant issued against the third respondent will be executed within a period of two weeks.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. The first and second respondent Police shall ensure that the orders of the Court are duly complied with within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
