FIR in Cr.No.63/2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(2) of IPC is sought to be quashed by way of this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and perused the materials placed on record.
3. On a very perusal of the FIR in Cr.No.63 of 2023, there is a clear case of abuse and assault made against the defacto complainant. Though, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the entire incident is arising out of chit transactions, at this stage, this Court cannot go into the merits of the case and is not inclined to quash the impugned FIR.

Now, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a counter case in Cr.No.62 of 2023 on the file of Ennore Police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(2) of IPC. Such view of the matter, it is well open to the petitioner and the defacto complainant for amicably settling their dispute.
5. Accordingly, this petition stands dismissed.Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed. 23.09.2025 dhk :Yes/No 2/4
