This Writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 3rd respondent in Rc.No.16350/Rect.II(1)/2015 dated 22.06.2017, quash the same and consequentially direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to re-fix the seniority of the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 7 in accordance with proviso to Rule 25 of the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu Police Subordinate Service, 1953.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter has become infructuous and sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. 2/4
