ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the Representation dated 24.08.2022 of the petitioner and release the pending reimbursable funds for the Measurement Books and the Bills at the earliest.

2. Mr.V.Nanmaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the 4th respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the President of Thiruvathur Village Panchayat Union. During rain fall in the year 2021, the petitioner spent a sum of Rs.7,12,660/- for recovery works to the people. But, the vice President has not signed the PFMS Bills. Unless the Vice President signs in the PFMS bills, the reimbursement would not be possible. Therefore, the petitioner had 2/4

made a representation dated24.08.20222 to the third respondent to take action against the respondents 4 & 5 and also to release the pending reimbursable funds. However, the same has not considered so far and hence, the present writ petition.

Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the petitioners representation after hearing the petitioner as well as the 5th respondent and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
