The petitioner was issued notice pursuant to the order dated 08.06.2018 passed by this court to appear for the hearing on 25.06.2018, but the same has been returned as unserved with the postal endorsement 'left'. There is no representation for the petitioner when the matter is called today. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending, when the petitioner does not appear to be interested in pursuing the matter. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents is present.
