Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order of "C" Form licence in R.C.No.14878/2015/M1, dated 10.01.2016 passed by the third respondent and quash the same as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the third and fourth respondents to demolish the fifth respondent's unauthorised cinema theatre at S.No.204/1 & 351/1A in Plot Nos.1 and 2, Manikandan Avenue, Kattur Road, Minjur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

(The Order of the Court was made by D.Krishnakumar, J) The petitioner has filed the above petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order of "C" Form licence in R.C.No.14878/2015/M1, dated 10.01.2016 passed by the third respondent and quash the same as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the third and fourth respondents to demolish the fifth respondent's unauthorised cinema theatre at S.No.204/1 & 351/1A in Plot Nos.1 2 / 4

and 2, Manikandan Avenue, Kattur Road, Minjur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Even on 26.06.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner.

3. This Court perused the records and heard the learned counsels appearing for all the respondents.

4. As there is no representation for the petitioner today and even in the last occasion, hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.

5. If there is any unauthorised construction, the respondents/authorities concerned shall proceed with the same in accordance with law.
