Letter No.1354/2022/B3, dated 24.09.2024 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to calculate the terminal benefits for the Notional Promotion post of Cleaner / Mechanical Grade-II together with interest from date of retirement on and from 31.12.2014 to the petitioner.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the third respondent in his Letter No.1354/2022/B3, dated 24.09.2024 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to calculate the terminal benefits for the notional promotion post of Cleaner / Mechanical Grade-II together with interest from date of retirement on and from 31.12.2014 to the petitioner.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Government Pleader would invite the attention of this Court about the writ appeal filed in W.A.No.860 of 2013 and Review Application No.65 of 2014 by and in which the similar relief sought for in the present writ 2/4

petition was already rejected. Having suffered an order, the petitioner came up with the present writ petition which is liable to be condemned.

3.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
