him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) The writ of habeas corpus has been instituted to direct the second respondent to produce the petitioner's brother Madhukar, S/o Raja Papa Rao, aged about 66 years.

2. Petitioner is the brother of the detenu. The second respondent police secured the detenu in his place and the detenu appeared through video conference before this Court. We have conversed with the detenu. He informed that he is taking treatment for various ailments and advised by the doctors not to undertake travel. However, he said that he is not in illegal detention and he is willingly residing at Ooty. Since the detenu is not under

illegal detention, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken. Consequently, the habeas corpus petition stands disposed of. Index : yes/no (S.M.S.,J.) (M.J.R.,J.) 20.12.2024 ss To
