ORDER
By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for disposal.
2. This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to cancel the settlement deed said to have been executed during the pendency of the partition suit.
3. Heard both sides and perused the entire materials placed on record.
4. Mere direction to the registering authorities will not serve any purpose. Any document executed during the pendency of the suit will always be subject to the Doctrine of lis pendens.
5. Such view of the matter, I do not find any merits in the case and this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
