PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in No.985/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 20.09.2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband Vinoth @ Arch Vinoth, male aged 35 years, S/o. Venkatesan, who now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai - 600 066 before this Court and set him at liberty. Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.7565, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 30.10.2024.

Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
