Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records of the 1st respondent in FIR No.850 of 2019 dated 20.10.2019 and quash the same since the same is illegal and contrary to law.

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 850 of 2019 dated 20.10.2019, pending on the file of the 1st respondent Police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that in Crime No.850 of 2019, investigation has been completed and final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram and the same is referred as "mistake of fact" on 04.01.2021.

3. In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), nothing survives for further adjudication in the petition and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
