O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the Award passed by the Labour Court dated 29.06.2016 in I.D.No.49/2013 and quash the same and consequently, direct the 1st respondent to reinstate the petitioner with continuity of service and pay all the back-wages to the petitioner.

2. On earlier occasion, viz., 14.06.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner and therefore, the matter was ordered to be listed on 21.06.2023. On 21.06.2023, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has given a change of vakalat and Registry was directed to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list and ordered to post the matter on 23.06.2023. Thereafter, on 23.06.2023, on verification of records, it was found that the change of vakalt has not been filed on behalf of the petitioner and since there was no representation for the petitioner, Registry was directed to print the name of the petitioner and to post the matter under the caption 'for dismissal' on 27.06.2023. Today, viz., 27.06.2023, though the name of the petitioner is printed 2/4

in the cause list, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through learned counsel, therefore, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
