The petitioner has filed the present writ petition in the nature of a mandamus, seeking to consider the representation given on 07.06.2024 to recognize him as a hereditary Trustee of Pachaiamman Koil situate in Pannathur Village, Pochampalli Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

2. The petitioner claims that the said temple was constructed by his father Baradhar @ Chinnapaiyan Gounder. But however, the representation should be given in accordance with the format as given in the schedule to the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959. The petitioner had only given a letter in this regard. If the petitioner gives a representation in proper format than the respondents would certainly consider it since Section 63(b) of the said Act, provides for consideration of such representations. If the petitioner gives a representation in a proper format, then the respondents may examine the same and follow procedure as enunciated in the Acts and Rules and pass appropriate 2 / 4

orders. From the date of receipt of such representation in a proper format, the respondents may dispose of the same within a period of twelve weeks. 3.The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
