Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.10.2024 and pass such further order(s) as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 03.10.2024 and pass final orders within time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the son of one V.J.Kumaradaas through his second wife Lakshmi. The petitioner's father died on 12.09.1995. It is alleged by the petitioner that his father's first wife daughter namely Premsanthaa obtained legal heirship certificate in Dis.A1/23249/95 dated 20.10.1995 without mentioning the children of the said V.J.Kumaradaas through his second wife Lakshmi. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 03.10.2024 seeking cancellation of the legal heirship certificate and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.S.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, on written instructions submitted that pursuant to the 2/4

representation submitted by the petitioner the enquiry notice was issued to the interested parties and enquiry is fixed on 27.11.2024. The said statement made by the learned Additional Advocate General is recorded.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to complete the enquiry and pass final orders, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
