ORDER

This revision seeks for expeditious disposal of H.M.O.P.No.357 of 2023 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Tambaram. 1/4

2.I called for a report from the learned Sub Judge, Tambaram on 16.12.2024.

3.The learned Sub Judge has sent a report stating that the petition is pending for enquiry from 29.04.2024 and the petitioner has to commence his side of enquiry on 05.02.2025. The report further reveals that connected H.M.O.P.No.5 of 2021 filed by the respondent herein against the petitioner seeking divorce was dismissed for default on 28.07.2023. Thereafter, the respondent filed I.A.No.3 of 2023, the same was allowed on 21.12.2024 and H.M.O.P.No.5 of 2021 was restored. The said H.M.O.P.No.5 of 2021 is posted on 05.02.2025 for cross examination of P.W.1. The learned Sub Judge has given an assurance that the court would take all necessary endeavors to dispose of the petition within a period of eight months. 4.Taking into consideration the report submitted by the learned Sub Judge, Tambaram, the learned Subordinate Judge is directed to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.357 of 2023 and H.M.O.P.No.5 of 2021, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5.With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs.
