Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Nos. 1 to 5 to conduct an enquiry into the Patta in Patta No. 493, pertaining to Lands Comprised in Survey No.206/4B, in Thattimanapalli Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District based on the Petitioner's representations dated 17.10.2023, 08.04.2025 and 07.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders after providing sufficient opportunity to the petitioner.

O R D E R

Mr.R.P.Muruga Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to conduct an enquiry into the Patta in Patta No. 493, 2/7

pertaining to Lands Comprised in Survey No.206/4B, in Thattimanapalli Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District based on the Petitioner's representations dated 17.10.2023, 08.04.2025 and 07.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders after providing sufficient opportunity to the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the aforesaid properties belong to the petitioner's father. After the demise of the petitioner's father, the petitioner came to understand that the patta pertaining to the aforesaid properties in Survey No.206/4B has been transferred to the respondents 6 to 8 under Patta No.493, without issuing notice to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representations dated 17.10.2023, 08.04.2025 and 07.07.2025 to the respondents 1 to 5 to conduct an enquiry into the Patta in Patta No. 493, pertaining to Lands Comprised in Survey No.206/4B, in Thattimanapalli Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District based on the Petitioner's representations dated 17.10.2023, 08.04.2025 and 07.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders after providing sufficient opportunity to the 3/7

petitioner. Since no action has been taken on the said representations the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the respondent concerned would consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

5. Heard both sides. Perused the records.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and upon the submissions made, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 6 and 7 and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the 4/7

petitioner, respondents 6 and 7 as well as to any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
