ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner, who is the father of the convict, has filed this habeas corpus petition, seeking a direction to the respondents to grant 30 days ordinary leave to the convict Appu @ Rajendran on the ground that the mother of the convict is seriously ill.

2.Though on the earlier occasion we had granted an order in favour of the convict taking note of the health condition of his mother, it appears from the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that it has taken a turn for worse. Now, she is admitted in the hospital. Thus, the reason not being disputed and the condition has become worse, we are inclined to grant two weeks leave to the convict with minimum escort. 3.Accordingly, the habeas corpus petition stands disposed of and the respondents are directed to grant two weeks leave to the convict with minimum escort. The convict shall be released at 10.00 a.m. on 28.11.2019 and he shall return back to prison at 05.00 p.m. on 12.12.2019 subject to the usual conditions that can be imposed.
