This application is filed by the plaintiff to implead the fourth respondent as 4th defendant in the suit on the ground that from the written statement filed by the first defendant, it is unravelled that the first defendant sold the copyright to the fourth respondent/proposed defendant. Hence, he is a necessary party.

2.Though the existing respondents/defendants 1 to 3 sought time to file counter, they have not filed their counter despite affording opportunity. 3.On perusing the affidavit and other records, this Court is of the view that the fourth respondent being the present copyright holder of the disputed movie is a just and necessary party. Hence, this impleading petition is allowed.

4.The plaintiff is directed to carryout necessary amendment in the main suit. The impleaded defendant is directed to file his written statement on or before 20.02.2020.
