This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience and noncompliance with the order dated 22.11.2023 in W.P.No.8939 of 2020.

2. When the contempt petition is taken up for hearing today, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 23.03.2026 in W.A.No.511 of 2026, while admitting the writ appeal, had passed interim order not to take any coercive steps by the respondents in the writ appeal against the appellant pursuant to the order dated 22.11.2023 in W.P.No.8939 of 2020. The Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court listed the writ appeal in the second week of June, 2026.

3. Since the order of this Court is sub judice before the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.511 of 2026, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the present contempt petition pending on the file of this Court.

4. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed and the liberty is granted to the petitioner to seek revival of the contempt petition after 2/4

disposal of the writ appeal in the event of petitioner/respondent succeeding therein and the respondents failing to comply with the order. 10.04.2026 dh To
