This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 03.07.2022 issued in CSR No.481 of 2022 by the respondent/Annur Police Station, Coimbatore District. 1/4

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint to the respondent police on 03.07.2022. Though the complaint disclosed cognizable offence, the respondent police for the reasons best known assigned C.S.R. No.481 of 2022 on 03.07.2022 and thereafter no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the complaint of the petitioner, the respondent police after conducting preliminary enquiry registered a case in Crime No.426 of 2023 against one Lingusamy, Damodarasamy and Sivasamy. The investigation commenced and after investigation final report in this case will be filed without delay. A copy of the F.I.R. is also produced. A copy of the same is also handed over to the petitioner today.
