Respondent, appointing the petitioner in the post of secondary grade teacher in the 4th Respondent/School, with consequential and other attendant benefits, including payment of salary from the date of appointment, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 3rd respondents to pass orders on the proposal dated 06.01.2020 and further reminder proposal dated 25.11.2023 made by the 4th Respondent, appointing the petitioner in the post of secondary grade teacher in the 4th Respondent/School, with consequential and other attendant benefits, including payment of salary from the date of appointment, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the 4th respondent School, with effect from 07.01.2020. On 23.03.2020, the 4th respondent through a letter requested the 3rd respondent to provide approval for her appointment. Despite the submission of the request dated 23.03.2020, no action has been taken by the 2/7
3rd respondent to approve the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher in the 4th respondent School. Once again on 25.11.2023, the 4th respondent requested the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher, in the vacancy created by the promotion post as request for approval of her appointment, there was no response. Contrarily the 3rd respondent has sought the 4th respondent to provide with the information vide O.Mu.No.2882/A1/2023, dated 29.01.2024. The information sought as referred has been furnished by the 4th respondent as informed. Despite the same, the respondents did not take any action.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the 4th respondent School, with effect from 07.01.2020. On 23.03.2020, the 4th respondent through a letter requested the 3rd respondent to provide approval for her appointment. Despite the submission of the request dated 23.03.2020, no action has been taken by the 3rd respondent to approve the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher in the 4th respondent School. Again on 25.11.2023, representation was made by the 4th respondent to the 3rd respondent, and the 3rd respondent has sought the 4th respondent to provide with the information vide O.Mu.No.2882/A1/2023, dated 29.01.2024. The information sought as referred has been furnished by 3/7
the 4th respondent till date not considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court.
4. Mr.T.M.Rajangam, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the representation dated 25.11.2023 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law by the Authority concerned.
6. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the materials available on record.
7. The representation made by the 4th respondent to the 3rd respondent dated 25.11.2023 was not considered till date, therefore, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. In the result, the writ petition stands disposed of with the above 4/7
observation and direction. No costs.
