This Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents herein for their wilful disobedience of the order dated 11.11.2019 passed by this Court in W.MP.No.32063 of 2019 in W.P.No.31825 of 2019.

Sub Application No.560 of 2019 To accommodate the petitioners in any of the vacancies of the High School Head Masters pending disposal of the above Writ Petition. For Petitioner ::

ORDER

This present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner for not complying the interim order dated 11.11.2019 in W.MP.No.32063 of 2019 in W.P.No.31825 of 2019, wherein this Court has passed the following order:

"2.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, there shall be an order of interim direction, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to take part in the counselling for promotion to the post of B.T. Assistant i.e. Rank No.113 pending disposal of the main writ petition.

3.Post this matter along with W.P.Nos.18490 and18495 of 2019 in the usual course. Notice."

2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, Mr.A.Rajaperumal, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for 2/4

the respondents would submit that the main writ petition itself was disposed of by this court on 04.02.2020 and since the present contempt petition has been filed against the interim order passed in the main writ petition, no contempt will arise for consideration before this Court. Hence he prays for closure of the same.

3.This Court heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In view of the fact that the main writ petition itself came to be disposed of on 04.02.2020, no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. consequently, the Sub Application is also closed. However liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedies in the manner known to law.
