The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of IPC, in Crime No.327 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is the case of the respondent that the defacto complainant had lodged a complaint stating that on 30.07.2023 at around 02.00 a.m., her grandmother informed that her thali chain had been stolen by an unknown person.

3. The respondent has now determined that that unknown person is the petitioner herein. There are five previous case of similar nature against the petitioner.

4. In view of the fact that the investigation will have to be done in the entire issue, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
