Prayer: The writ petition was filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the second respondent pertaining to the order dated 26.09.1997, made in M.T.A.No.183/1996, and quash the same as illegal.

Heard Mr.K.Venkatesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Inbarajan, learned counsel for the respondents. With the consent on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal.

2. The petitioner is the State of Tamil Nadu represented by the Deputy Commissioner (CT), Tirunelveli Division and challenge is to the order passed by the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsels on either side fairly state that the legal issue involved in this Writ Petition is squarely covered by the decision of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in the case of State of Tamil Nadu vs The Premier Litho Works reported in 26 VST 205 and requested that the Writ Petition may be disposed of following the said decision.

In the light of the decision of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in the case of The Premier Litho Works (supra), the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
