ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The learned counsel for the petitioner argued the matter for a considerable length of time. When the Court raised a question regarding maintainability of election petition of a Bar Association, since the elections to the Bar Associations are conducted based on the By-laws approved by the Registrar, under the regulations of Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983, the learned counsel for the petitioner would made a submission that he will withdraw the writ petition and approach the competent forum. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

2.In view of the said submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
