The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(1), 5(1) (a), 6(1) (a), 7(1)(a) in Crime No.26 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2.As a matter of fact this is the third anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner herein. The first anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner had been dismissed on 09.08.2023 and the second anticipatory bail petition had been dismissed on 01.11.2023.

3. The case of the prosecution is that, on 28.03.2023, when the respondent was watching locanto app, they came to know that prostitution was being held at a house at Mahatma Gandhi Nagar, Vettuvankeni, Chennai. The respondent conducted raid and arrested one Adithya @ Kavin.

4.The petitioner claims that he is innocent and that he is only an incharge of the said house. It is stated that the petitioner collected maintenance amount and such other charges from occupants of the said house. It is further contended that Adithya @ Kavin is the main accused and other accused is Sriram.

5. The learned counsel also states that he had co-operated with the investigation earlier, but still, the respondent have arrayed him as an accused in the First Information Report.

6.There has been no change in circumstances. Same facts are reiterated again by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Therefore, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.

7.Even in the earlier occasion, it had been noted that explanation should be sought for from the Investigating Officer as to why the petitioner had not been taken into custody. It had been stated that 2/4

steps are being taken to secure the petitioner, but, again and again anticipatory bail petition is being filed. Investigating Officer to be present in Court on 23.11.2023 at 2.15 p.m. Call on 23.11.2023. sli 17.11.2023 3/4
