Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the Impugned Notice issued by the 3rd respondent herein on 05.12.2022 and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary and devoid of merit and consequently direct the respondents herein to issue trade licence to the petitioner's trade namely "Ananta Thai Spa" situated in New No.13/2, Old No.26, 4th Main Road, Besant Nagar, Chennai-600 090 as per the order passed by this Court in WP No.26222 of 2021 dated 09.12.2021. When the matter was called on 02.04.2025, there was no representation for the petitioner and Registry was directed to list the matter on 15.04.2025 under the caption "for orders".

2. Again, when the matter was taken up on 15.04.2025, none appeared for the petitioner. Hence, Registry was directed to list the matter today i.e., 16.04.2025 under the caption "for dismissal". 2/4

3. Even today, when the matter is taken up for hearing at 11.40 a.m, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, it is clear and evident that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Hence this Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for nonprosecution.
