The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.10.2023, registered for the offences under Sections 399 and 402 of IPC in Crime No.372 of 2023, seeks bail.

2.It is stated that on 15.06.2023, the defacto complainant saw an auto bearing registration No.TN 03 Y 7121 and he found that six persons were planning to commit joint robbery in locked houses and shops. When the defacto complainant and his team tried to catch the said persons, all tried to escape from the place by leaving their weapons and the Police officials arrested two persons and seized the auto. 3.On the side of the respondent, it is stated that there are 8 previous cases including one under Section 307 of IPC. 4.Even though the learned counsel stated that the other accused have been granted bail, the antecedent of the petitioner prevents me from granting bail.
