ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents to dispose the petitioner's representation /Application dated 23.10.2020.

2. According to the petitioner, one Anuradha, who falsely claiming herself to be daughter of Krishnasamy Pillai, who is the petitioner's father, had obtained legal heir certificate by using some forged documents from the revenue authorities. Thereafter, she is claiming a right over the properties of the petitioner's father on the basis of the document Nos. 3785 of 1966 and 3323 of 1967. According to the petitioner, the above said documents are fabricated. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents to cancel the said documents. However, the respondents have not considered the same so far and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Mrs. N.Senthil Selvi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court is at a loss to understand as to how this writ petition is maintainable. If at all any document is to be cancelled on the ground of forgery 2/4

or committing fraud, it has to be established in a proper manner. The documents were executed in the years 1966 and 1967. Now, by way of this mandamus, the petitioner cannot seek a direction to remove the entry in the concerned register in respect of the subject property.

5. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed. Still, if the petitioner wants to pursue her remedy, she can proceed with the matter in the manner known to law. No costs.
