This application has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 160 days in filing the written statement in the above suit.

2. This Court by order dated 08.12.2023 permitted to receive the written statement of defendants 1 & 2 on payment of costs of Rs.10,000/- payable to the credit of Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai and it is reported that the same was paid on 21.12.2023.

3. In such view of the matter, the delay is condoned. This application is ordered accordingly.
