ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the 3rd respondent to depute a special investigation officer to investigate Crime No.23 of 2022 pending on the file of the 1st respondent police. 2.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report was filed before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srivillipattur, on 21.06.2023 for offence under Section 354A, 506, 509 of IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of harassment of Women Act and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that 2/5

the final report is yet to be taken on file. 3.

In view of the above, there shall be direction to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srivillipattur, to act upon the final report within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and proceed further in accordance with law. 4.
