ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to measure the land situate at old Survey No.131/3B new Survey No.131/3B1 extended about 0.50 cents and old survey No.131/3A new survey No.131/3A4 extended about 0.14 1⁄4 cents in Vadakarainambianthal Village, Kalasampakkam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and earmark the boundaries based upon the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2022.

In respect of the property at old Survey No.131/3B new Survey No.131/3B1 extended about 0.50 cents and old survey No.131/3A new survey No.131/3A4 extended about 0.14 1⁄4 cents situated at Vadakarainambianthal Village, Kalasampakkam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, to survey the land and to identify the four boundaries, the petitioner had given a representation on 12.11.2022, before which, an Eapplication has already been made on 01.07.2022 by paying the necessary fee for such survey.

3. In order to consider the said representation/application and to do 2/5

the survey of the petitioner's land, the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent, has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

4. Heard Ms.V.Lakshmi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who having reiterated the aforesaid would seek indulgence of this Court.

5. Heard Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and the needful would be undertaken within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Having regard to the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides and taking note of the innocuous nature of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.11.2022 by taking into account the fee paid by the petitioner to survey the land and 3/5

accordingly do the needful by surveying the land of the petitioner after giving notice to the petitioner as well as the neighbors of the petitioner's property and that shall be undertaken by the respondent within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
