ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner/appellant to suspend the sentence imposed by the Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Chennai in Spl.S.C.No.163 of 2022 dated 28.07.2023 and enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of Criminal Appeal.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent seeks time.

3. Since the typed set of papers is already made ready and the appeal also ripped for trial, this Court is inclined to take up the main appeal itself. Therefore, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
