PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the first respondent with No.2108/Secy(AH)/PS/2017 dated 21.08.2017 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents to admit the petitioner to the first year of the B.V.Sc & A.H. Course for the academic year 2017-2018.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the first respondent with No.2108/Secy(AH)/PS/2017 dated 21.08.2017 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents to admit the petitioner to the first year of the B.V.Sc & A.H. Course for the academic year 2017-2018.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a direction to admit the petitioner as in-service candidate in B.V.Sc & A.H. Course for the academic year 2017-2018, but, now the prayer has become infructuous. However, the petitioner wants to make a representation to the Government with regard to the provision of the quota to the in-service candidates for the Course B.V.Sc & A.H., for the ensuring year and the said representation may be considered on merits.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents sought time to get instruction in this regard. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader.

5.In the present case, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not argued to allow the Writ Petition, but, he fairly submitted that the prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous. However, the petitioner would like to make a representation to the Government to know about the provision of the quota for the in-service candidates to join B.V.Sc & A.H. Course. In such case, the Government can very well consider the same and it is not necessary to get any instructions from the respondents.

6.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to make representation to the respondents to know about the provision of the quota for the in-service candidates to join B.V.Sc & A.H. Course. If such representation is being made, the respondents shall dispose the same within a period of four weeks from the date of representation made by the petitioner. No costs.
