Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and measure with boundaries in respect of the petitioner's land at Plot No. 4/3, Block E, Third Avenue, Arignar Anna Nagar East, Madras 600 040 within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court and if such plot is not available to allot any alternate plot of the same extent in the same locality.

ORDER

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner filed an additional affidavit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the petitioner dated 18.10.2021, wherein it is stated that as directed by this court, the son of the petitioner appeared before the third respondent, who asked his officials to verify the original sale deed dated 12.09.1989 and connected records; after that, the authorities asserted that the said originals were not genuine; and hence, the petitioner is inclined to approach the competent forum as per law to find out the truth. Therefore, the learned counsel sought permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent civil court for appropriate relief. 2.In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, liberty is granted and this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
