O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in All India Quota Stray Vacancy Round Counseling under NRI Quota based on the application submitted by the petitioner through Email dated 26.10.2024 without reference to the seat for BDS-Dental Course allotted to the petitioner in the respondent No.5 College through counseling conducted by the respondent No.4.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made an application dated 26.10.2024 through e-mail before the respondents to permit her to participate in All India Quota Stray Vacancy Round Counseling under NRI Quota, however, the same has not been considered so far. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner, dated 26.10.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent have no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 26.10.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
