This writ petition is filed to quash the impugned selection order of Petrol Pump Dealership for Puducherry dated 25.11.2018 and consequently, to direct the First Respondent to conduct fresh selection so far as "Gorimedu to Mettupalayam Industrial Estate Road Towards Truck Terminal" location, Puducherry District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition, as the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, in view of the fact that in the subsequent fresh selection process, the petitioner herein has got selected.

3. Recording the said submissions made by the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
