ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed, challenging the Government Order in G.O.(Ms) No.142 Public Works (R2) Department dated 23.7.2014, passed by the first respondent.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the State, has produced a copy of the order dated 3.10.2018 made in a batch of writ petitions viz. W.P.Nos.28535 of 2018 etc. batch upholding the Government Order in G.O.(Ms) No.142 dated 23.7.2014. The learned counsel for the petitioner also stated that the said order dated 3.10.2018 passed in the batch of writ petitions, would apply to his case also.
3. In view of the order dated 3.10.2018, passed in the batch of writ petitions, the present writ petition is also disposed of on the same lines. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed.
