PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the Respondent herein viz the Inspector of Police, Thirunavalur Police Station, Kallakurichi District to complete the investigation in case in Crime No.445 of 2023 and file a final report before the concerned Court, within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This is a case of cheating through money circulation and chit act. Out of five accused, three were arrested and investigation is going on in Crime No.445 of 2023. In the course of investigation, the first respondent police has found that the ramification of the chit amount exceed to fifty lakhs and the same has been transferred to District Crime Branch on 28.10.2023, for further investigation.

2.In view of the above facts, this Court finds that at present, there is no necessity to direct the Police to fix any date for completion of investigation. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to revive the request at later point of time, if necessary. 22.11.2023 Internet : Yes/No Index : Yes/No rkp To
