The petitioner/A2 seeks bail in C.C.No.2046 of 2023, now pending before the II Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai. Originally, Crime No.269 of 2022 had been registered for the offences punishable under Section 461 of IPC and subsequently, altered to Sections 457, 380 of IPC r/w 341 of IPC.

2.It is the case of the prosecution that the 2nd accused, had broken into the tea shop and had stolen money. The case before the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, is at the stage of examination of Investigating Officer.

3.Let the trial proceed further and the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, may endeavour to complete the trial on or before 31.12.2023.
