PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records relating to petitioner's mother detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 06.10.2023 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings D.O.No.84/2023-C2 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's mother namely Selvi, aged 50 years, wife of Annamalai, now detained at Special Prison for Women, Vellore, before this Court and set her at liberty, For Petitioner : Mr.C.C.Chellappan For Respondents : Mr.E.Raj Thilak Additional Public Prosecutor assisted by Mr.Aravind.C

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a proceeding in G.O.Rt.No.6640, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department dated 27.11.2023, submitted that

the detention order has already been revoked. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. (M.S.R.,J.)
