This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2023 within a time frame.

The facts in brief, as submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner are as follows:

The petitioner's father by name Nachimuthu was granted a house patta dated 06.12.1993 vide Na.Ka.No.12074/93 under Order 21 of Revenue Standing Order to an extent of 500 sq.ft in New Town Survey No.858/6D, Old Town Survey No.607C/14Ba, 621Ba at Chithravuthanpalayam village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District.

After the death of the petitioner's father the property devolved on the petitioner as he was one of the legal heirs of his father. The petitioner's father mortgaged the said property by obtaining business loan from Industrial Board of Tamil Nadu after getting permission from the first respondent on 30.09.1994.
2.3 The petitioner had repaid the mortgage amount to Tamil Nadu Kadar Board on 28.07.2022. The petitioner's son met with an accident and thereby, the petitioner suffered a huge financial loss and hence, sought disposal of the said property.

The petitioner had sent an representations to the first respondent on 06.08.2022 and 02.02.2023 which were also forwarded to the second respondent on 24.02.2023 with regard to selling of the said property, but there was no response and hence, this writ petition for the relief as stated above.

Learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that if specific time frame is fixed by this Court the respondents would consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2023. 4.
Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 5.
Considering the limited scope of relief sought by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2023 and pass orders on the same on DR. D.NAGARJUN,J.
