(Order of the Court was made by P.B.BALAJI, J.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.10.2024 and to issue community certificate to the petitioner, his wife Mrs.S.Anitha, aged about 39 years, his two children 1) Devadharshini S, born on 02.02.2006, 2) Dharaneesh S. born on 21.05.2007 to the effect that they belong to Schedule Tribe (Hindu-Kuruman) within the stipulated time.
2. Mr.Vadivelu Deenadayalan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and on written instructions from the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tirupattur, submitted that since the petitioner is residing in Ettiamman Koil vattam, Ambur Circle, Page 2/5
Vaniyambadi Division, he is at liberty to apply through on-line application seeking Community Certificate and if any such application is received, the same will be considered and suitable orders will be passed by the authorities concerned, without any delay.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the writ petitioner to make on-line application seeking Community Certificate, within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such application being received, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within two weeks from the date of receipt of the on-line application.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
