The petitioners are A2 to A4 in Crime No.11 of 2022, registered under Sections 406, 509, 498(A), 323 and 506(1) of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019, seek anticipatory bail.

2. On the side of the respondent, it is however stated that investigation had been completed and final report had also been filed and the same had been taken cognizance in C.C.No.2947 of 2023 before the IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet.

3. It is stated that the present petitioners are shown as absconding accused. Hence, anticipatory bail would not lie. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
