COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed to quash impugned Order passed by the first respondent dated 10.05.2017 and consequently direct the respondents to alter the route of the installation of transmission lines so as to not to disturb the land of the petitioners in Uthukottai Taluk.
2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent submitted that while temporary connection has been given, High Voltage Transmission Lines have been installed near the lands of the petitioners and after the receipt of objection from the petitioners, the High Voltage Transmission Lines have been shifted from the lands of the petitioners. Hence, according to the learned Government Advocate, the prayer in the Writ Petitions have become infructuous. Similarly, as far the consequential prayer sought to alter the transmission lines is concerned, it is well settled that once the expert has taken a decision based on their expertise, the Court cannot go into that aspect.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
