When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that they have issued notice to the petitioner for confiscation 1/3

proceedings, but the petitioner has not appeared before the competent authority. Further the proceedings are pending for want of petitioner's appearance.
