PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the respondent police to take necessary action at the earliest on the representation dated 13.11.2019 relating to the Crime No.01 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, W4, All Women Police Station, Kilpauk, Chennai, the respondent police, with the help of Cyber Crime Police to Probe into the conversation, Contact lists, Call log, SMSs, Images, Audio, Video, GPS Data and Apps data etc., both existing and deleted from the said Vasavi's mobile Phone through Cyber Crime Police.

O R D E R

The limited prayer sought for in the present petition is for a direction to the Cyber Crime Branch Police to assist the Investigation Officer/respondent herein for the purpose of extracting the mobile conversation in connection with the averments made in the complaint. Since, such a request seems reasonable and in view of the technical expertise involved, this court is inclined to accept the request made by the petitioner herein.

2.In the light of the above observation, there shall be a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, CCB (Cyber Crime), Chennai to assist the Investigation Officer, who is the respondent herein, during the course of investigation in Crime No.01 of 2019 to the limited purpose of extending the technical support, if necessary.

3.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
