ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the 1 st respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition dated 02.04.2025 submitted by the petitioner herein under Section 13 of the Patta Passbook Act in respect of the property in Survey Nos.360 / 1A1 B and 360 / 1 B2 of Porur Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai District within the stipulated time.
2.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner filed a Revision Petition dated 02.04.2025 before the 1 st respondent against the order dated 28.02.2025 passed by the RDO, Central Chennai Division/ the 2 nd respondent. The 1 st respondent by proceedings dated 25.04.2025, directed the respondents 2 and 3 to submit a report regarding the issues. However, thereafter, no order has been passed by the 1 st respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the Revision Petition dated 02.04.2025 filed by the petitioner will be considered disposed of at the earliest point of time.
5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 1 st respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition dated 02.04.2025 filed by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
