This petition has been filed to call for the entire records pertaining to the FIR registered in Crime No.277 of 2019, pending investigation on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Chennai and quash the same.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the case in Crime No.277 of 2019 has been transferred to CBCID and thus, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition. The learned counsel has also made an endorsement in the Court bundle, today, to that effect. 3.
In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty to challenge the fresh F.I.R registered by C.B.C.I.D, Chennai. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 06.10.2023.
